Who We Are

Since The Shore Scoop opened its doors in April of 2013 we strive to make all of our ice cream with Fresh, local ingredients.

We make only small, artisan batches to ensure that your ice cream is always fresh.           

Remarkable flavors. Always a unique experience.

Our recipes are inspired as much by our seasonal and locally procured ingredients as well as our friends, our family and our travels.  

We are particularly proud of our own special creations, which have been warmly received by our customers.

We guarantee that you have never had ice cream as smooth, fresh and creamy as we make it here at The Shore Scoop. We know that there are lots of other ice cream places out there, but none with the quality of ice cream and flair quite like ours!

 

The “Ice Cream Lady”

Jennifer Braker has always had a passion for ice cream, and has dreamed of owning her own ice cream parlor, ever since she was a little girl visiting her uncle's ice cream shop on the Ocean City boardwalk. 



Jennifer decided to go out and learn as much as possible about the art of making small batch ice cream. Therefore, she embarked on a cross-country learning trip, that started at PENN STATE University’s creamery and Ice Cream 101 course, and ended at the Frozen Dessert Institute in St. Louis, Missouri. 



​Now she is sharing her passion with you, inventing new gourmet flavors and making classic favorites fresh and homemade.

We offer several flavors every day, we never stop inventing, perfecting and testing, and welcome your ideas, so you will discover favorites and new finds every time you visit!

On Tuesday and/or Friday Mornings, the ice cream is made right in the store Feel free to just come in and watch her do her thing. 



The possibilities are ENDLESS with ice cream!!!
